Intellectual Property and Patents

G&H occupies a strong intellectual property (IP) position. We consider managing our IP maturely and intelligently as a fundamental business activity.

Our patents provide us great protective value, allow us to collect significant licenses, help us keep secure both our own business and that of our customers, and prevent our inventions from enabling our competitors.

G&H currently files and receives new patents at a rate between five and ten per year. We expect to keep that level constant. G&H has a proactive approach to creating new business focused inventions, a well-defined IP process for our invention disclosure and selection process, and significant incentive payments for our employee inventors.
